Showcase Concerts provide an opportunity for pupils to perform in front of an appreciative, friendly and supportive audience and as such, are part of the pupils' education  - a chance for them to develop the ability to communicate their love of music.

Programmes are selected from a broad range of music that is being studied at any one time in the School.  The Director of Music consults with the instrumental teachers and together they decide which pieces are ready to present to the public.

Surrey Mozart Players are delighted to return to the Menuhin Hall with an evening of Beethoven and Schubert. James Brawn is the soloist in Beethovenís Piano Concerto no 3, his recordings of the complete Beethoven Sonatas have quickly become hailed as a modern classic. Joachimís magisterial orchestral arrangement of Schubertís Grand Duo for 2 pianos completes the evening, providing a welcome chance to hear this rarely performed masterpiece.
